Hey there Jerry,

I&#039;ve had a look at your page and first off I&#039;d suggest checking the link internally from your LAN side (i.e. the internal IP of the camera) This will eliminate any issues with the Linksys DynDNS service and different ports, and/or pinhole setups between your camera and the intertubes.

I also note that MS appear to have removed the ActiveX plugin from the download address in the code, so you may be better off trying the http://[camera address]/img/mjpeg.jpg type addresses also.

To be completly honest, I did give up on these cameras as I found them far to hard to adapt to the needs of users, such as yourself, who want to &#039;mashup&#039; the functionality and adapt them to *their* requirements. Perhaps the community has picked up these cameras and developed a more open firmware by this stage, I&#039;d have to check (and hope :) )

Good luck, and thanks for visiting!

Subject: Question for Rob: Linksys WVC54GC camera question

Hi, Rob.

I followed your instructions on this page from a few years back, to set up
my Linksys WVC54GC camera &lt;link removed&gt;

Here&#039;s the resulting page:
http://&lt;link removed&gt;/video.html

It looks like it wants to load, but doesn&#039;t and keeps chugging.

Did you ever have/resolve these streaming problems? I&#039;ve tried on Macs and
PCs, and the page looks the same on both.

Thanks for any tips you can provide.

Regards,
Jerry</description>
